YMMV - All games sold AS IS, no returns or refunds. Please buy only if you already have a working key, can get one, think the ones included will work, or you're a computer whiz and can bypass the key somehow. But I'm not the original owner of these games, and I don't know if these keys have been used, will work again, won't work, etc. I don't always know if a game needs one to install, or doesn't need one. Next, there's the subject of des that you must input in order to install or play the game. Most any game, should be able to run on a modern system! YMMV. Try YouTube for full videos on the subject. Try to Google terms like: PLAY OLDER PC GAMES, or other some such, and many sites should pop up. There are many other ways, but some might take a little computer know-how. If it's an old DOS game, try DOSBox, a program that allows you to run in DOS mode, which again, tricks the game into "thinking" it's running in DOS. This allows you to start a program on a modern Windows machine to run as say, Windows XP mode, and the game will "think" it's running on a Windows XP machine. The first and easiest work-around to try is Windows Compatibility Mode. Many are classics, and should be played again, and again, and again! But, playing older games on a modern system can be a challenge - but there are work-arounds! I don't have the time or space for a full tutorial here, but maybe I can get you started. Many of the PC games I sell were made for older systems, such as Windows 95, 98, XP, or even as far back as DOS. In response to "bluebellyday", who just might not have the computer know-how to get an older game to work with modern systems, here's the disclaimer I put in all my PC game listings: Many older games CAN be played on modern Windows systems - but it takes a little know-how! The Keeper can also research magical Spells that can be unleashed upon unsuspecting groups of champions, as well as Traps and Doors of various types that can be placed at critical junctures in the Dungeon.ĭungeon Keeper is a level-based game with twenty single-player levels, six "hidden realm" levels, and fifteen multi-player levels designed for two to four players. This is helpful to the evil Keeper because do-gooders of all sorts will begin knocking at the Dungeon Keeper's door on a regular basis.Īmoral creatures like Dragons, Demon Spawn, Hellhounds, Vampires, and Ghosts ache to get a piece of any hero that might venture a little too close to the Keeper's dominion. ![]() These mischievous creatures will attack anything "good" that crosses their path. ![]() Construction costs money, and, as the enterprising Dungeon Keeper digs out new ground for laying rooms, he will run across seams of Gold and Gems which can be used to replenish his assets.Ī well-constructed dungeon will attract nefarious creatures from all walks of death who will, for a small stipend of gold, sell their services to their Keeper. Players must use the worker Imps at their disposal to build a dungeon that consists of rooms of various types, such as treasure rooms, lairs, hatcheries, libraries, workshops, and torture rooms.
